This is a shot of Maori Park, one of several mini parks located in the new Greenbridge public housing development in White Center. The park features public art by local Seattle artist Juan Alonso.

The nationally award winning Greenbridge project replaced a 95-acre site of 1940’s era barracks-style public housing duplexes with a modern mixed-income master planned community of over 1,000 energy efficient rental and for-sale homes. The project also includes additional community supportive facilities such as the White Center Heights Elementary School, YMCA, Library, Jim Wiley Community Center, Boy’s & Girl’s Clubs and various retail spaces.
